BMO Capital names Ellen Jewett managing director in public finance

Milwaukee, May 10 - BMO Capital Markets announced it appointed Ellen Jewett as managing director in its public finance group.

Jewett will be based in New York and will focus on infrastructure and airports.

She has more than 20 years of experience at Goldman Sachs, holding positions within the infrastructure and public finance department, including head of public sector transportation, head of airports and chief of staff for the department.

Jewett has been involved in a range of financings, including developing public private partnerships and project financings. She was senior managing underwriter for more than $25 billion of municipal revenue bond issues and led teams to develop, evaluate and bring to market all types of investment-grade revenue securities.

Jewett holds a master's in public and private management from Yale University, an M.Sc. in psychoanalytic theory at University College London and a B.A. from Wesleyan University in government.

BMO Capital is the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group based in Toronto.
