Jefferies taps Mark Fox as director, head of European emerging markets

Milwaukee, April 28 - Jefferies & Co., Inc. announced it appointed Mark Alan Fox as a managing director and head of emerging markets distribution, Europe, as part of an effort to expand its emerging markets fixed-income business.

Fox has more than 21 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Jefferies, he spent eight years at UBS, most recently as a managing director and head of emerging markets, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Previously, Fox spent three years at JPMorgan and nine at Lehman Brothers.

Fox has also written and lectured on emerging markets, including as associate fellow and examiner for the International Securities Emerging Markets Association.

Jefferies is a securities and investment banking firm based in New York.
