Kurtzman Carson names Shira Weiner corporate restructuring director

Milwaukee, March 1 - Kurtzman Carson Consultants announced that Shira D. Weiner has joined the company's New York office as director in corporate restructuring services. She will also be part of the company's business development team to support its growth initiatives.

Weiner has corporate restructuring and financial law experience as a former associate at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Weiner's legal experience includes representing debtors, lenders, private equity firms, bondholders and unsecured creditors in out-of-court restructurings, complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and liquidations.

Admitted to practice law in New York, Weiner earned her JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She has a BA in economics from Emory University.

Based in Los Angeles, Kurtzman Carson provides administrative-support services and technology services to companies undergoing corporate restructuring and complex legal matters.
