BB&T hires DePierro, O'Neill to its New York corporate trading desk

Cleveland, Nov. 9 - BB&T Capital Markets announced that it expanded its fixed-income trading operation with the hires of Jim DePierro and Stephanie O'Neill to its corporate trading desk in New York.

DePierro has 24 years of experience in securities trading with various Wall Street firms.

O'Neill joined BB&T's capital markets fixed-income sales team in 2007 and now moves to a new role.

"The addition of these professionals to BB&T's experienced capital markets trading operation gives us even greater capacity to service our growing fixed-income division," Bill Hardy, fixed-income division head, said in a news release.

The financial services company is based in Winston-Salem, N.C.
