Wells Fargo launches Wells Fargo Build America Bond index

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 25 - Wells Fargo & Co. has launched the Wells Fargo Build America Bond index, a market capitalization-weighted and rule-based index meant to provide diversified exposure in the market.

The Build America Bond market had grown to roughly $27 billion in originations as of Aug. 21, according to a Wells Fargo news release.

The index is priced daily and is available on Bloomberg Professional Service by typing BABS index.
