Algon hires BMO veteran Brad Edwards as head of financial sponsor team

Knoxville, Tenn., May 6 - Algon Group announced it has hired Brad Edwards to head the group's financial sponsor efforts.

Edwards started in May and is based in the Greenwich, Conn., office. He will report to president and founder Troy Taylor.

Edwards joins from BMO Capital Markets, where he was a senior member of the sponsor coverage and leverage finance team. He previously worked at both CIBC World Markets and Gordian Group.

Atlanta's Algon is a financial advisory and investment banking firm.
