Jefferies names Peter Hale head of Asian convertible bond trading

Milwaukee, Oct. 6 - Jefferies announced its appointment of Peter "Henry" Hale as a senior vice president and head of Asian convertible bond trading.
Based in London, Hale will be responsible for all Asian convertible bond trading within the firm's broader team of 22 sales and trading professionals focused on international convertible bonds in London, Zurich and New York.
Jamie Graham, head of international equity linked securities at Jefferies, commented in a news release, "We are delighted to welcome Peter Hale to head Jefferies' Asian convertible bond trading effort. With more than 16 years of experience in convertible bond trading, he brings extensive knowledge and relationships to our established global platform."
Hale joins Jefferies from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was most recently a managing director and head of Asia Pacific convertible bonds. Previously, he was a portfolio manager for Augustus Asset Managers Ltd.'s convertible bond and high-yield hedge fund.
Jefferies, based in New York, is a global securities and investment banking group.
