LSTA publishes the collateral annex to participation agreement for distressed trades

New York, Feb. 6 - LSTA published on Wednesday the collateral annex to its participation agreement for distressed trades.

The annex tackles the issue of standardizing the terms under which unfunded obligations in distressed trades could be collateralized.

The participation agreement for distressed trades was done back in October to free buyers and sellers from having to negotiate and draft documentation from scratch each time they settled a trade as a participation.
