Morgan Stanley Investment Management names Schaney manager for global opportunity fund

New York, Nov. 6 - Morgan Stanley Investment Management named Dennis M. Schaney as portfolio manager for the Morgan Stanley Global Opportunity Bond Fund, Inc.

The fund is managed by emerging markets debt and taxable high yield teams at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Managers currently responsible for the fund are managing directors Abigail L. McKenna, Eric Baurmeister and Schaney, with Federico Kaune, an executive director.

Schaney has been with Morgan Stanley Investment Management since September and began managing the fund in October.

Before that he was global head of fixed income at Credit Suisse Asset Management and prior to that head of leveraged finance at BlackRock, Inc.

The fund is listed on the New York stock exchange under the ticker "MGB".
