By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 20 - Bank of America Corp. announced it has hired Lionel Jolivot as a principal and senior research analyst for Banc of America Securities.

Jolivot will provide high-yield debt research on the services, industrials and aerospace and defense sectors. He will be based in New York and will report to Larry Bland, global head of high-yield debt research.

Jolivot joins Banc of America Securities from Barclays Capital where he was a high-yield research analyst covering the industrial, building products, finance and services sectors and a member of the institutional investor "All-America Fixed Income Research Team." Previously, he held positions in high-yield research at Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Securities.

Jolivot received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers in Paris.

"We look forward to welcoming Lionel to the debt research team and in turn, broadening our sector coverage," global head of research Paula Dominick said in a press release. "Our clients will value his deep insights and extensive knowledge of the general industrials sector."

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Bank of America is a bank holding company.
