Société Générale appoints head of new liability management team

Knoxville, Tenn., July 9 - Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking announced it has appointed Emmanuelle Petelle managing director of the company's liability management team within debt capital markets. Based in Paris, Petelle will report directly to Jean-François Mazaud, global head of debt capital markets.

In the new position, Petelle and her team will provide advisory, structuring and execution services for bond debt restructuring for all types of clients. They also will manage bond restructuring on the back of M&A transactions and client debt profile optimization.

Petelle most recently worked for Deutsche Bank in Paris, developing bond origination for French corporate issuers before moving on to cover agencies and financial institutions. She graduated from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris and from the Société Française des Analystes Financiers.

Société Générale is a financial services group based in Paris.
