Dreier adds Campo, Kinzey to bankruptcy and corporate reorganization practice

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, April 9 - Dreier LLP has hired John P. Campo and John S. Kinzey as partners in the bankruptcy and corporate reorganization department, according to a company news release.

Before joining Dreier, Campo and Kinzey were partners at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP in New York.

According to the release, these additions expand the depth of Dreier's already strong bankruptcy and corporate reorganization department and add further bankruptcy litigation expertise.

With the addition of Campo and Kinzey, Dreier's bankruptcy and corporate reorganization practice now includes 15 attorneys.

Campo and Kinzey will continue their focus on representing debtors, trustees, secured lenders and other parties-in-interest in both Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court workouts.

Before joining LeBoeuf Lamb, Campo was a senior attorney in the Office of the U.S. Trustee for the Southern District of New York and has been a Chapter 11 trustee for cases in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Campo has published various bankruptcy-related materials. He received a JD, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1980 and his BA in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1976.

He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Campo is a member of the American Bar Association, New York County Lawyers' Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and Turnaround Management Association.

Kinzey was a partner at LeBoeuf Lamb for 24 years, having started his career there as a litigation associate in 1974 following his graduation, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

He received a BS in chemical engineering from The University of Virginia in 1971. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Dreier is a New York-based law firm.
