Pimco names Conseil, Ozeki as executive vice presidents

Des Moines, April 5 - Pimco announced the promotion of 11 employees to executive vice president, including Cyrill Conseil, who will be responsible for U.S. dollar bank loan exposure, and Koyo Ozeki, who will head the company's Asian credit research team.
Conseil has over 15 years of investment experience. He joined Pimco in 1998 as a senior member of the credit research team and earlier worked in the high-yield group at Moody's Investors Service. He holds a B.A. in economics with a concentration in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in finance and international business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Ozeki's career has included more than 21 years as a banker or credit analyst for banks. He joined Pimco from Nomura Securities, where he was a senior advisor for investment banking departments. Before that, he was managing director and head of credit research at Merrill Lynch Japan, a rating agency credit analyst at IBCA and a banker at Kyowa Bank. He received a B.A. from the University of Tokyo and an M.B.A. from the University of Hull.
Conseil will be based in Newport Beach, Calif., and Ozeki will be based in Tokyo.
Pimco is a fixed-income fund-management company based in Newport Beach.
