AMG reports $56.4 million outflow from high-yield mutual funds for week to Dec. 27

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Dec. 29 - A market source has advised Prospect News that in the week ended Dec. 27 the high-yield mutual funds saw $56.4 million of outflows.

It follows the previous week's $45.1 million outflow.

The latest outflow, among funds that report to AMG on a weekly basis, extends their year-to-date net redemptions to negative $3.056 billion.

Meanwhile the funds that report on a monthly basis have seen inflows totaling $4.967 billion for 2006 to Dec. 27, according to AMG.

Hence the year-to-date total flows, which factor both the weekly reporters' outflows and the monthly reporters' inflows, stood at slightly less than $1.921 billion at the Dec. 27 close.
