State Street Global Advisors hires Stolberg, Haley as junk analysts

Des Moines, Jan. 16 - State Street Global Advisors appointed Thomas V. Stolberg, CFA, and Charles M. Haley, CFA, as senior high yield analysts in its global fixed income group.

Both Stolberg and Haley have more than 10 years of investment management experience.

Stolberg was most recently a senior analyst at Boldwater Capital Management, LP. Before that, he was a senior vice president in the high yield division of State Street Research and Management. He received a B.A. cum laude from Middlebury College in 1983.

Haley also joins the company from Boldwater, where he was a credit analyst covering a wide variety of industry sectors. Earlier, he was vice president and senior high yield analyst with Columbia Management Group. He received a B.A. cum laude in mathematics and classics from Boston College.

"They will help strengthen our ability to deliver to our clients a comprehensive alpha-generation toolkit comprised of global asset classes, such as high yield and leveraged loans, that are increasing in popularity," Paul Greff, director of global fixed income for State Street Global Advisors, said in a news release.

Based in Boston, State Street Global Advisors is the investment management arm of State Street Corp.
