Dahlman Rose names Silverman managing director in leveraged finance group

By Laura Lutz

Des Moines, July 10 - Dahlman Rose & Co., LLC tapped Jeffrey T. Silverman to be a managing director in the company's new leveraged finance group.

Silverman was previously a vice president at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse, where he spent the past nine years working in high yield and distressed sales.

Dahlman Rose's leveraged finance group was formed in June to work in below-investment-grade fixed income and private placements.

Silverman joins Neal Thomas, managing director and head of leveraged finance, and Mario Monello, senior capital markets advisor.

Silverman's appointment "further demonstrates Dahlman Rose's commitment to provide comprehensive services to our corporate and institutional clients across the capital markets spectrum," Thomas said, in a news release. "His network of senior-level relationships makes him a natural fit for Dahlman Rose's established team."

Dahlman Rose is a New-York based boutique investment bank.
