Piper Jaffray expands health care team in United Kingdom

Erie, Pa., May 10 - Piper Jaffray Cos.' United Kingdom subsidiary Piper Jaffray Ltd. announced the hiring of two investment bankers and two research analysts, expanding its U.K. health care business and providing enhanced client services.

Neil Mackison and Rupert Winckler join Piper Jaffray in investment banking.

Mackison, a managing director, was previously the head of European Health Care Investment Banking at ING. Winckler, an associate investment banker, was with ING's health care investment banking.

Sally Bennett and Richard Parkes join the firm as senior research analysts, covering biopharmaceutical companies. Bennett was part of the biotechnology research team as a director at ING Wholesale Bank.

Parkes was previously a vice president at ING Wholesale Bank and part of its biotechnology research team.

Piper Jaffray is a Minneapolis and London-based securities firm.
