GE Commercial taps Jeffrey Lupoff to manage industrial project finance

Des Moines, Nov. 9 - GE Commercial Finance appointed Jeffrey P. Lupoff as senior managing director of industrial project finance within its Corporate Lending business.

Lupoff has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry and has been at GE since 1988. While there, he has led structured finance teams in Asia Pacific, railroad financing and distressed debt. He most recently headed a team responsible for identifying corporate and project finance opportunities outside of the United States.

Before joining GE, Lupoff worked for Lloyds Bank plc and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Miami and his B.A. from Connecticut College.

In his new role, Lupoff will be responsible for providing debt financing, lease solutions and equity investments of $25 million to $1 billion or more for new construction or expansion projects in capital-intensive industries.

Based in Norwalk, Conn., GE Commercial Finance provides financial products to business customers.
