By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Oct. 16 - Chadbourne & Parke LLP said Adrian M. Harris has joined the firm as a partner in the bankruptcy and financial restructuring group, according to a company news release.

Harris will be based in the London office.

Before joining Chadbourne, Harris was the head of European insolvency & restructuring at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

According to the release, Harris comes to Chadbourne with 16 years of insolvency and restructuring experience in Europe.

Harris will be joined by two other lawyers from Orrick to form a distressed debt trading team acting for investment banks and hedge funds in complex cross-border distressed bank debt trading across Europe.

Harris is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, the Insolvency Lawyers Association, Insol International, Insol Europe and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).

He received his B.A. with honors from De Montfort University and his post graduate diploma in law from the College of Law, Guildford.

The two attorneys joining Chadbourne with Harris are Diane McLean and Ceinwyn Bannister.

McLean is a barrister who has been a senior legal consultant at Orrick since February 2005 and a member of the bankruptcy and debt restructuring group.

She earned a post graduate diploma in law from the University of Westminster.

Bannister, who is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, has worked as an associate since June 2004 in Orrick's bankruptcy and debt restructuring group.

She attended the University of Auckland from 1990 to 1992, earning a bachelor of laws degree.
