GE Global Sponsor Finance hires Aria as managing director, Brensinger as senior VP

Des Moines, Sept. 5 - GE Commercial Finance - Global Sponsor Finance announced the hiring of Alan Aria as managing director and Melanie Brensinger as senior vice president, according to a company release.

Aria will be responsible for generating and overseeing sponsor client relationships in the healthcare sector.

Aria has more than 19 years in investment banking and corporate finance, most recently as a team leader for JPMorgan investment banking/mid corporate group. He holds a BS degree in finance/economics from New England College and an MBA from Fordham Graduate School of Business.

Brensinger was most recently a director on the private equity sponsor coverage team at Scotia, where she "closed several notable transactions in the healthcare industry," according to the release.

Prior to Scotia, Brensinger was the relationship management development program at CoreStates Bank, NA/First Union National Bank. She earned a BS degree in finance and economics from York College.

Both will be based in New York.

GE Global Sponsor Finance provides lending and other structured financial services offered to the private equity sponsor market.
