ING names Michael Yang as head of wholesale relationship management

New York, Sept. 28 - ING Wholesale Banking, Asia said it has named Michael Yang as managing director, head of wholesale relationship management in Taiwan.

In that capacity, he will be responsible for supporting and developing the bank's key client relationships in Taiwan and well as develop ING's product capabilities in the Greater China market.

Previously, Yang spent more than six years at Taiwan's Bank SinoPac, where he was senior vice president. At SinoPac he was responsible for the company's offshore banking unit, which sought to finance client activities overseas and in particular in Mainland China.

Previous to that, he was an executive director at CIBC.

Yang's appointment follows the recent appointment of Phillip Chiu as director, head of financial markets in Taiwan.
