By Kimberly N. Alleyne

Stroudsburg, Pa., Aug. 30 - Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP announced Tuesday Justin Jowitt has joined the firm as a partner in the global finance department of its London office. He previously worked as a lawyer for Allen & Overy in the global loans department of its London office.

Jowitt's focus will include investment and development financing for commercial and investment banks, including those originated for CMBS, in the United Kingdom and Europe.

"Justin is a wonderful addition to our London office and our global finance practice," Robert O. Link, Jr., Cadwalader's chairman and managing partner, said in a news release. "He is an experienced practitioner with wide-ranging finance capabilities who will enhance our cross-disciplinary advice in connection with primary market activities."

Jowitt obtained both his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Canon Law degrees from Lincoln College, Oxford in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He joined Allen & Overy LLP as an associate in London in 1997 and worked in both the Paris and London offices.

"I am delighted to be joining Cadwalader and look forward to being involved in the growth and development of the global finance practice," Jowitt said.

Law firm Cadwalader has offices in New York, Charlotte, N.C., Washington, London and Beijing.
