ING names Phillip Chiu to head of financial markets in Taiwan

New York, Aug. 4 - ING Wholesale Banking (Asia) has named Phillip Chiu as a director and head of financial markets in Taiwan.

Chiu will be responsible for all of the bank's financial markets activities in Taipei, including all fixed income, interest rate and foreign exchange trading. He also will assist with debt market origination and the delivery of structured products to clients.

Chiu joins ING after six years at Deutsche Bank in Taiwan, where he was head of the short-term interest rate trading desk.

He has also worked at American Express Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank in Taipei.
