Royal Bank of Scotland hires Ed Cook as senior vice president in loan markets sales group

New York, July 20 - Royal Bank of Scotland hired Ed Cook as senior vice president of the loan markets sales group, according to a market source.

Cook will be reporting to Art de Peņa, managing director and head of loan sales and trading.

Previously Cook was at Bear Stearns, where he spent five years in the high-yield loan sales & syndications group. And, before that, he was at Salomon Smith Barney, where he was part of the fixed-income sales group.
