New York, June 13 - GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending announced Monday the promotion of Joseph F. Nemia to senior managing director for the Vertical Industries group from leader of the company's East region.

Nemia will lead the North American efforts in the restructuring, retail, metals and automotive sectors.

"Joe has been one of the key players in the development of our lending business over the last 12 years. His remarkable transaction experience during this time period will help us grow our already significant presence in these major industries," general manager Willie Brasser said.

The Stamford, Conn.-based company offers asset-based financing, cash flow lending and corporate restructuring.
