GE names Ghosh new chemical market leader

New York, June 1 - GE Commercial Finance and GE Commercial & Industrial Finance announced Wednesday the appointment of Deepak Ghosh as industry leader for the chemicals market.

Ghosh will be responsible for generating business in the chemicals and allied industries, in which Commercial & Industrial Finance has invested in excess of $1 billion through senior debt and structured product transactions.

Ghosh was formerly responsible for corporate and investment banking initiatives at Bear Stearns & Co., Citigroup, Inc. and Young & Partners.

GE Commercial & Industrial Finance, a unit of GE Commercial Finance, provides financial products involving recapitalization, equipment leasing and growth capital. GE Commercial Finance is based in Stamford, Conn.
