BNP names Greg Paul managing director, head of leveraged media & telecom

New York, April 6 - BNP Paribas hired Greg Paul as managing director and head of leveraged media & telecom, according to a company news release.

Paul will be reporting to Kathryn Swintek, head of U.S. leveraged finance, and will be based in New York.

Paul previously worked at Deutsche Bank. Prior to Deutsche, he worked with Bankers Trust Co. and its affiliates in their corporate finance department and media investment-banking group.

"We are active currently in supporting the cable, satellite, tower and wireless sectors and are looking to expand our presence in broadcasting, publishing and theatre exhibition. The addition of Greg to our team will greatly assist us in achieving our goals for the North American market," Swintek said in the release.
