GE Commercial Finance appoints Trentos to lead debt and lease financing for private equity transactions

New York, March 8 - GE Commercial Finance Global Sponsor Finance and Global Media & Communications have appointed John Trentos as senior vice president, sponsor channel origination, meaning that Trentos will be responsible for providing debt and lease financing for private equity sponsored transactions in the telecommunications, media and entertainment sectors, according to a news release.

Previously Trentos was focused on the telecom, media and technology sectors in various capital markets functions.

"John Trentos has consistently demonstrated keen insight into the debt financing needs and opportunities of our clients," said Peter Foley, managing director and sales leader for Global Media & Communications, in the release.

"His finely honed skill set and depth of industry knowledge makes him an ideal fit for our sponsor channel," added Margaret Fritz, managing director and vertical sales leader for Global Sponsor Finance, in the release.
