Cantor Fitzgerald names Urciuoli managing director, head of investment-grade and high-yield business

Pittsburgh, March 7 - Cantor Fitzgerald LP named Carmine R. Urciuoli managing director, head of investment-grade and high-yield business in its debt capital markets group.

Fitzgerald will be responsible for growing Cantor's corporate bond operation to become a presence in the fixed-income markets. He will also build an investment-grade and high-yield sales and trading operation to complement the existing fixed-income business.

Urciuoli has previously held leading roles at Citigroup, ABN Amro and Lehman Brothers and was most recently a managing director focused on new issue and underwriting activities at Bank of New York.

Cantor Fitzgerald, a New York financial services provider to the institutional equity and fixed-income markets, said it plans to continue to expands its debt capital markets business with additional new hires over the next year.
