GE Commercial Finance hires Kjerstin Barley as technology lending team vice president

Philadelphia, Nov. 7 - GE Commercial Finance announced Monday that is has appointed Kjerstin E. Barley to the position of senior vice president, origination.

Based in San Francisco, Barley will be responsible for developing client relationships within the technology sector and will report to John Kinnaman, managing director of GE Commercial Finance - Technology Lending, according to a company news release.

Barley has 12 years of experience in technology and finance, most recently serving as investment banking vice president for Bear Stearns & Co. She also has held positions with JP Morgan, Enron Corp. and Brown Venture Associates.

She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

"With her strong operational background, sound relationships with key technology investors and portfolio companies, and specialty expertise in private equity and corporate finance, Kjerstin is a perfect fit for the Technology Lending team," Kinnaman said in the release.

GE Commercial, based in Stamford, Conn., offers financial products and services to businesses around the globe.
