Harris Nesbitt high-yield sales and trading hires Foresta, Wehrlin and Chiriaco
St. Louis, June 16 - Mid-market investment and corporate bank Harris Nesbitt announced Wednesday that Karen Foresta, George Wehrlin and James Chiriaco have joined its high-yield sales and trading team.
The three new members will report to Paul Phaneuf, managing director and head of Harris Nesbitt's High Yield Sales and Trading Group, the company said in a news release.
"Karen, George and James bring considerable high yield experience to Harris Nesbitt and they will have an immediate positive impact on our business," Phaneuf said in the release. "High Yield remains a major focus for Harris Nesbitt, and we will continue to grow our business in response to our clients' needs."
Before coming to Harris Nesbitt, managing director Foresta worked previously with Scotia Capital where she was a director on the high-yield desk. Previously, she had been a director and founding member of the high-yield department at Credit Lyonnais.
Vice president Wehrlin worked previously as vice president and senior salesman for Fleet Securities.
Vice president Chiriaco previously worked in high-yield sales, primarily with Prudential Securities and Bear Stearns.
