Schroders hires De Young
New York, April 12 - Schroders plc said it hired Chris De Young as a high-yield credit analyst based in New York.
De Young's addition is the latest expansion of the asset management firm's U.S. junk bond team headed by Wes Sparks.
De Young was previously at Allied Irish Bank where he covered the automotive, metals, homebuilding, technology and other industrial sectors.
Schroders' credit research term, led by Jack Davis, now has 18 analysts in London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.
"Schroders currently manages $34 billion in fixed income products globally. We have recently added to our staff in European high yield and in fixed income in the U.S., and Schroders remains committed to growing its presence in the global high-yield market," said Bob Michele, Schroders' global head of fixed income, in a news release.
