Deutsche hires Donald Sung for convertibles
New York, April 12 - Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. said it hired Donald Sung as a managing director in convertible origination for its equity capital markets group.
Sung will report to Brooks Harris, head of convertible origination in the Americas.
Sung previously had a similar position in Morgan Stanley's European equity capital markets group and before that he worked in convertible origination and equity derivatives in Morgan Stanley's New York office.
"Don is highly regarded in the convertible market for his structural innovations and crisp execution," said Harris in a news release. "His skills and experience in the global equity markets will be a tremendous resource for our clients and the bank."
"Don is the latest of many outstanding senior additions we have made in recent months as we continue to grow our equity capital markets platform," said Richard Byrne, Deustche's head of capital markets and financial sponsor coverage for the Americas, in a news release. "These moves underscore our commitment to building a leading franchise in the U.S. equity capital markets."
