Fleet names Frederick Taylor head of high yield research
New York, May 9 - Fleet Securities, Inc. named Frederick Taylor managing director and head of high yield research.
Taylor will report to Scott Vallar, managing director of high yield capital markets, sales, trading and research.
Taylor will manage a team of seven analysts as well as covering homebuilders, real estate investment trusts and lodging.
Taylor was previously global head of high yield research at Barclays Capital.
"This news underscores Fleet's commitment to the debt capital markets arena; we're very pleased to welcome Fred to the team," said Vallar in a statement. "He's made substantial contributions to the industry through his service at some leading firms including Barclays, Schroders & Co., and Salomon Brothers and we're looking forward to having his expertise to guide our high yield research group."
Fleet said other recent hires in high yield research include George Ashur, covering retail and restaurants, and Frank Hacklander, covering energy, power and environmental industries.
