Chanin Capital opens London office

New York, July 29 - Chanin Capital Partners said it opened its first international office, in London.

The Los Angeles-based investment bank, which specializes in corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions, said it will use its new London office as a base to broaden the services it offers in Europe.

Managing director Randall Lambert will head the London office.

Chanin noted it has been increasingly active in European financial restructurings since the beginning of the year, and is currently involved in a several transactions including Song Communications, a Swedish telecommunications company.

The new office follows Chanin's strategic alliance with Hawkpoint, an independent corporate finance advisory firm in London, to advise jointly on restructuring assignments that have combined European and U.S. elements.
