Deutsche Bank hires Chalhoub away from Merrill Lynch
St. Louis, Mo., June 11 - Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. announced it hired George Chalhoub as a managing director and senior high yield credit analyst covering the consumer products, metals and mining sectors. Chalhoub previously held a similar position at Merrill Lynch & Co.
Also joining Deutsche Bank as a senior high yield credit analyst is Eric Johnson, who will serve the institution as a director covering the energy sector. Johnson's held a similar position at Goldman Sachs & Co., and prior to that was a senior analyst at Lehman Brothers.
Both Chalhoub and Johnson will report to David Bitterman and Andrew Van Houten, co-heads of high yield credit research in the Americas, Deutsche said.
