Banc of America combines equity, equity-linked capital markets under Ganshaw
New York, June 10 - Banc of America announced the creation of a new Integrated Equity Capital Markets group, combining the previously separate equity-linked and cash equity capital markets groups.
The new group will be headed by Trevor Ganshaw, who has headed equity-linked capital markets since 1998.
Derek Dillon will assume a new role as head of U.S. Equity-Linked Capital Markets and will report to Ganshaw.
"This new structure will significantly enhance our ability to deliver the best solutions to our clients across all of our equity, convertible debt, and equity derivatives product capabilities," said Jon Sandelman, who last week was named to the new position of head of Global Equities at Banc of America.
Ganshaw will report jointly to Sandelman and to Carter McClelland, president of Banc of America Securities.
Jeff Child and Bill McLeod will continue to head U.S. Equity Capital Markets, reporting to Ganshaw.
