JP Morgan names Zajkowski head of equity-linked origination
New York, Feb. 1 - JP Morgan said it hired Jeff Zajkowski as managing director and head of equity-linked origination for the Americas.
Zajkowski was previously a managing director and senior member of the equity-linked team at Merrill Lynch & Co.
In his new position, Zajkowski will report to Kevin Willsey and Peter Holland, co-heads of U.S. equity capital and derivative markets.
"Jeff will be a great leader for our growing equity-linked business," said Willsey in a news release. "We made great progress in our global convertibles practice in 2001 and see growth accelerating in 2002. Jeff has the experience and leadership capabilities to take us to the next level."
Before joining Merrill, Zajkowski was at Goldman Sachs & Co., starting as a fixed income analyst, then joining the interest rate derivatives group and later moving to equity capital markets.
