Chanin names Garcia vice president

New York, Jan. 24 - Chanin Capital Partners promoted John Garcia to the position of vice president.

In his new position, Garcia will continue to work on client-related transactions including financial restructuring, reorganization and valuations, Chanin said in a news release. Garcia will structure reorganization plans and will also be involved in training.

Garcia was previously a senior associate in the Los Angeles office of Chanin, a specialty investment bank. Before that he was a vice president in for Pilgrim Investments' high yield bond group.
