By Tali Rackner
Norfolk, Va., May 8 - Deutsche Bank AG announced that Mike Weir will join the bank as a director and U.S. par loan trader, according to a press release.
He will report to Bill Dobson and Mike Eilert, co-heads of U.S. par loan trading.
Weir joins from UBS, where he was an executive director on the par loan trading team. Previously, he ran the loan trading desk at Citadel Securities and, earlier in his career, worked at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
In addition to Weir, Deutsche Bank made the following additions to its fixed income and currencies business within Corporate Banking & Securities: Aaron Elliott as a managing director and credit desk analyst, Jeff Horan as a director in investment-grade credit trading and Daniel Znaty as a director in credit sales.
Deutsche Bank is in New York.
