Prospect News reports five new defaults for April 10-April 16 period

Pittsburgh, April 17 - Prospect News reported five new defaults for the period of April 10 to April 16.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by Momentive Performance Materials Inc., TelexFREE LLC, Coldwater Creek Inc. and Glacial Energy Holdings, Inc. and a Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act filing made by Cash Store Financial Services, Inc.

In addition, MtGox Co., Ltd. announced during the week that its civil rehabilitation proceedings in Japan had been dismissed and that it had been placed in provisional administration. A bankruptcy filing is possible, the company said.

Prospect News has reported 51 defaults so far for 2014, including 28 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, eight missed interest payments, three Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, two each of restructurings, defaults and administrations and one each of missed principal and interest payments, bankruptcy filings, judicial discovery requests, missed principal payments, CCAA filings and concurso mercantil proceedings.
