Milbank hires corporate finance lawyer Eric Reimer as partner in LA

Norfolk, Va., April 2 - Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP announced that corporate finance lawyer Eric Reimer has joined the firm's Los Angeles office as a partner, according to a news release.

Reimer was an associate and later senior counsel at Milbank from 1990 to 1999. He returns from O'Melveny & Myers, where he was chair of the corporate finance practice.

Reimer counsels clients in various types of corporate financings, including leveraged acquisitions, credit facilities and restructuring-related financings. He has represented private equity firms, corporate issuers, lenders and borrowers with a focus on the health-care, education, tech, retail and transportation sectors, the release said.

"Eric is a highly versatile transactional attorney with an accomplished history of advising on notable deals, securities offerings and restructurings," chair Scott Edelman said in the release.

"We are pleased to welcome him back to Milbank, where his knowledge and experience will complement our robust corporate finance capabilities, particularly in the institutional lending, investment and restructuring practices on the West Coast."

Milbank is New York City-based law firm.
