Cantor Fitzgerald adds Paul Baeri as fixed-income managing director

Minneapolis, Jan. 29 - Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. appointed Paul Baeri as a managing director in its fixed-income sales and trading team, the company announced in a press release. He will focus on distressed debt, leveraged loans, high yield and special situations.

The firm also hired Kevin Quinn as a managing director.

"We are pleased to welcome these highly accomplished professionals to the Cantor team and are confident their extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the marketplace will make a strong contribution to our clients and our firm," chief executive officer Shawn P. Matthews said in the release.

"Their appointments further demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing clients with the highest level of service and our global distribution platform."

Baeri joins Cantor from Global Hunter Securities, LLC where was co-head of high yield and distressed sales. He previously was a managing director and member of the high-yield team at Gleacher & Co., in loan sales and distressed trading at JP Morgan Securities LLC, and in fixed-income trading for Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in London.
