Calamos adds Hughes, Langs to fixed-income/high-yield investment team

Minneapolis, Aug. 16 - Calamos Investments announced the addition of Jeremy Hughes and Chris Langs to its investment team, according to a press release.

At Calamos, the two will manage the firm's fixed-income/high-yield strategies, including the Calamos High Income Fund.

Most recently, Hughes and Langs worked together at Aviva Investors overseeing high-yield assets.

"We are pleased to welcome Jeremy and Chris to our investment team. Throughout the firm's history, we have sought to expand our investment capabilities both through cultivating internal expertise as well as by hiring experienced professionals," CEO and global co-chief investment officer John P. Calamos, Sr. said in the release.

Calamos Investments is a Naperville, Ill., diversified investment firm.
