Recent trading:135.387 versus stock price of $143.60
• "Without a doubt, Tesla was the best deal of the year," a New York-based trader said. "Tesla is a marquee name. It's more than performance. I think it helped make the space trendy to issuers once again."
• The issue came at the rich end of talk, which was tightened during marketing. There were also concurrent stock offerings. And it was done with a call spread.
HORIZON PHARMA INC.
Issuer:Horizon Pharma Inc.

Bookrunners:JMP Securities LLC and Cowen and Co. LLC
Pricing date:Nov. 19
Recent trading:138.00 versus stock price of $6.75
• "Horizon was the best deal; it went to 125 before it even settled," a syndicate source said. "The stock was obviously a big driver, but the bonds did well on the way up as well."
SOUFUN HOLDINGS LTD.
Issuer:Soufun Holdings Ltd.
Issue:$350 million convertible senior notes due Dec. 15, 2018 priced to yield 2%, up 40%
Bookrunners:Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC
Pricing date:Dec. 4
Recent trading:N/A
• "Soufun stock has gone ballistic since the deal," a New York-based trader said.
• As of Dec. 23, shares were up 11% from issue Dec. 4.
• On their debut, the new 2% convertibles were said to have performed "in line to weaker" after the Beijing-based real estate internet company priced the upsized $350 million of the five-year convertibles at the midpoint and rich end of talk.
SUNEDISON INC.
Issuer:SunEdison Inc.
Issue:$500 million convertible senior A notes due Oct. 1, 2018 priced to yield 2%, up 27.5%
Bookrunners:Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch
Pricing date:Dec. 12
Recent trading:111.25 versus share price of $12.77
SUNEDISON INC.
Issuer:SunEdison Inc.
Issue:$500 million convertible senior notes due Jan. 1, 2021 priced to yield 2.75%, up 27.5%
Bookrunners:Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch
Pricing date:Dec. 12
Recent trading:111.75 versus a share price of $12.77
• Despite lower shares on their debut in the secondary market, the SunEdison tranches held up well and even expanded on a hedged basis by about 2 points.
• Pricing for the upsized SunEdison tranches came at the midpoint of talk, and they have moved up from there, with the A tranche adding 4.5 points on hedge and the B tranche adding 3.125 points currently since issue Dec. 12.
• The $1 billion deal size didn't seem to douse action as happened with other $1 billion deals like Priceline's and Yahoo!'s.
