Generex Biotechnology files $150 million stock and preferreds shelf

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 29 - Generex Biotechnology Corp. filed a $150 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, warrants and units.

The preferreds may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Toronto-based Generex is a drug research and development company.
