Moody's assigns GM green notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 rating to General Motors Co.’s new senior unsecured notes.

GM's other ratings remain unchanged, including the Baa2 senior unsecured bank credit facility rating and the Baa3 senior unsecured notes rating.

The company plans to use the proceeds to finance or refinance projects, assets or activities that meet certain eligibility criteria of GM's sustainability financing framework.

The outlook remains stable.
