Alon subsidiary Mega Retail sells NIS 6.58 million total debentures

New York, Nov. 28 - Alon Holdings Blue Square-Israel Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Mega Retail Ltd., sold in off-market transactions NIS 6,098,312 par value of Alon Holdings' unsecured non-convertible series C debentures at NIS 90.6 per NIS 100 par value for an aggregate consideration of NIS 5,525,071.

According to a 6-K filing, Mega Retail also sold in the market NIS 478,627 par value of the same series C debentures at a price of NIS 92.15 per NIS 100 par value for an aggregate consideration of NIS 441,059.

In other news, Alon Israel Oil Co. Ltd. sold 600,000 ordinary shares at a price of NIS 9.02 each.

Based in Rosh Ha'Ayin, Israel, Alon owns and operates supermarkets and specialty stores.
