GE Capital plans issue of 40-year Internotes

By Andrea Heisinger

New York, July 31 - General Electric Capital Corp. announced plans Thursday to price GE Capital Internotes due 2048, according to a 424B3 filing Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

It's likely the issue, which is considered a retail note offering, will not price for a couple of days, a market source said.

The notes are non-callable for five years.

Banc of America Securities LLC is the bookrunner.

The funding arm of General Electric is based in Fairfield, Conn.
