S&P revises Generac Power view to positive

S&P said it affirmed its BB- issuer credit rating on Generac Power Systems Inc. and revised the outlook to positive from stable.

S&P also affirmed the BB- issue-level rating on the company's senior secured debt; the recovery rating on this debt remains 3.

“The positive outlook reflects our view that Generac's issuer credit rating could be raised in 2019 if leverage is sustained at the low end of the 2x-3x range in 2019,” S&P said in a news release.
